LadBet
LadBet is a British sportsbook and online casino. Bet in-play across forty-odd sports, put together your own football bet from one match, and take cash out whenever a result stops feeling safe.
18+. New customers only. Minimum £20 bet at odds of 1/1 (2.00) or bigger. Free bets expire after 7 days. Gamble responsibly.
We opened to British customers in June 2026, and the shape of the place has not changed since: a full sportsbook, a casino sitting on the same balance, and a deliberately short walk between the two. There is one account, one wallet and one set of statements. If you back a horse at two o’clock and fancy twenty minutes on the slots afterwards, nothing needs transferring.
What follows is a plain tour of the site: the sports we price, the tools on the bet slip, how money moves in and out, and the parts we get complaints about. Every figure on this page is our own, and every one of them is repeated on the page that covers it in detail.
Football betting
Football carries the most traffic here by a distance, so it gets the deepest book. A Premier League fixture opens with more than 200 markets on it: the result, both teams to score, corners, cards, shots on target, player-specific lines and a long tail of combinations that only make sense if you have watched the two sides play.
Beyond the match result
The interesting money has moved away from the win-draw-win box over the last decade, and the book has followed it. Player shots and player cards are priced individually for every starter. Corner markets run to totals, race-to counts and team-specific lines. Cards are priced by booking points as well as by count, which matters in a derby.
If you want several of those from the same match, you want the bet builder rather than an accumulator — an acca will not let you combine two things from one game, and the builder is built precisely to.
Where a price comes from
A price is our assessment of a chance plus a margin. It moves because the assessment moves: a team news drop at an hour before kick-off, a keeper out, a pitch under water. It also moves because money moves. A well-backed selection shortens whether or not anything has changed on the ground, and there is no conspiracy in that. It is how a book balances.
Everything we price is set out at odds explained, including the arithmetic for turning a fraction into a return before you stake anything.
In-play betting
Roughly half of what goes on the slip here goes on after kick-off. The in-play book reprices continuously while a match runs, and on the bigger fixtures it stays open on almost everything rather than shrinking back to the result.
The delay, and why it exists
There is a short acceptance delay on every in-play bet, a handful of seconds between tapping and confirming. It is not there to be awkward. Feeds arrive at slightly different moments, and without the pause anyone sitting in the ground with a phone would be betting on things that had already happened. The slip tells you when a price has moved during that window and asks whether you still want it.
If you are watching a stream rather than the ground, expect the picture to sit a few seconds behind the price. That is a property of video, not of the book, and our streaming page goes into it properly.
Horse racing
Racing gets its own team and its own rules. Best odds guaranteed applies as standard on British and Irish racing: back something at the morning price, and if it drifts and wins at a bigger starting price we pay the bigger one. You do not have to opt in and there is nothing to claim.
Each-way terms in plain words
An each-way bet is two bets of equal stake, one on the win and one on a place. A tenner each way costs twenty pounds. How many places count, and at what fraction of the odds, depends on the size and type of the race — the standard terms are printed on the coupon before you stake, and we work through them with examples.
Dead heats reduce a return rather than void it, which catches people out more than any other rule in racing. It is explained on the same page, with the arithmetic shown rather than asserted.
Bet builder and accumulators
Two tools, often confused. The builder combines selections from a single match into one price. An accumulator combines selections from different events. Both multiply, both need every leg to land, and both behave differently when a leg is void.
Why a builder price is not the product of its parts
Picks from the same match are related. A team winning 3–0 and their striker scoring are not independent events, so multiplying the two prices together would overpay badly. The builder prices the combination as one thing, which is why it can come out shorter — sometimes much shorter — than the sum you did in your head.
On accumulators, our acca insurance gives a free bet back when one leg out of five or more lets you down. The detail, including which markets count towards it, sits on the accumulators page.
Cash out
Cash out settles a bet before the event finishes, for whatever the current position is worth. It is available on most singles and multiples, in play and before the off, and it can be taken in part: pull half the stake out, leave the rest running.
What the figure is actually made of
The number you are offered is the current value of the bet at current prices, less the same margin that was in the original price. It is not a favour and it is not a fee. Taking cash out repeatedly costs you the margin twice, once going in and once coming out. Held to the finish, a winning bet always pays more than cashing it out would have. Whether that is worth the certainty is a personal question, and we set out both sides of it.

Stake £20, get £10 in free bets
One qualifying bet at 1/1 (2.00) or bigger. No code to type in, and the free bets land as soon as it settles.
Take the offerThe welcome offer
New customers get £10 in free bets for a £20 qualifying bet at 1/1 (2.00) or bigger. There is no promo code — and anybody selling you one for LadBet is guessing, which is the whole of our promo code page.
The casino package is a separate thing
Our casino runs its own welcome, spread over the first four deposits: up to £1,500 + 200 free spins, with 35x wagering on the bonus and a £5 cap per spin while it is being worked through. The sportsbook free bets carry no wagering at all. Mixing the two up is the single most common reason somebody is surprised by a term, so we keep them on separate pages: the sports offer here and the casino package here.
The offer suits you if
- You were going to put a £20 bet on this weekend anyway
- You are comfortable at odds of evens or bigger
- You can use a free bet inside a week of it landing
- You want the casino package as well and will read its wagering terms
Give it a miss if
- You only ever back odds-on favourites, which will not qualify
- £20 is more than you wanted to stake in the first place
- You will not get to a bet within 7 days
- You expected the casino spins without a deposit — there is no no-deposit offer here
The app
The LadBet app is on Google Play and the App Store, and it is the same account, the same balance and the same markets as the site. What it adds is speed: bet slip state survives a lost signal, notifications land when a cash out offer moves, and the in-play page refreshes without a full reload.
On Android, use Google Play
We publish one Android build and it goes through Google Play. Files offered elsewhere as a LadBet APK were repackaged by somebody who is not us, and we cannot tell you what else went into them. The APK page says this at greater length, because people keep asking.

The casino, on the same balance
Around 1,400 slots and 60 live tables, including Big Bass Splash, Book of Dead, Legacy of Dead. No second account and no transfers.
Look round the casinoPaying in and getting paid
Deposits start at £10 and are instant on cards and wallets. Credit cards are refused, and that is not our rule: British operators have been banned from accepting them since 2020. Debit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay and bank transfer are all covered on the payments page.
What a withdrawal actually takes
Between 1 to 14 September 2026, 92% of debit card withdrawals settled inside ten minutes. PayPal ran quickest at around 4 minutes, Apple Pay about 6 minutes, and debit cards around 9 minutes. Bank transfer is the slow one at 1 to 3 working days, and it is the right choice only for a very large payout.
The thing that delays a payment is almost never the payment. It is verification that has not been finished, or a withdrawal going back to a card the deposit did not come from. Both are covered on the withdrawals page before they cost you an afternoon.
| Method | Out | Minimum | In |
|---|---|---|---|
| PayPal | 4 minutes | £5 | instant |
| Apple Pay | 6 minutes | £5 | instant |
| Visa debit | 9 minutes | £5 | instant |
| Mastercard debit | 9 minutes | £5 | instant |
| Bank transfer | 1 to 3 working days | £10 | 1 to 2 working days |
Betting safely
Every account has deposit limits, loss limits, session reminders, a time-out and full self-exclusion, and all of them are in settings rather than buried behind a support conversation. A tighter limit takes effect immediately. A looser one waits out a cooling-off period, deliberately.
Help that has nothing to do with us
GAMSTOP blocks you from every licensed British gambling site at once, ours included, and we cannot lift it. That is the point of it. How it works and what we offer alongside it both have their own pages, and neither of them is trying to sell you anything.
What customers tell us
Since launch the app has picked up an average of 4.4 out of five from 2,180 ratings. The praise is consistent and so are the complaints, and we would rather print both than pretend the second list is empty.
Cashed out at half time, went to put the kettle on, and the money was on my card before I sat back down. I have waited three days for that somewhere else.
Put four things from the same game together and it took the lot. My old firm made me split it into two bets and priced them like they had nothing to do with each other.
Builder is the best bit by a mile. Knocking a star off because the acca insurance wording took me three goes to follow.
Signed up on the Friday, never had to send a single document, had a bet on by teatime. Expected a fortnight of uploading passports.
The full picture, including the things we have changed since June and the ones we have not, is on the reviews page.
Things you can check for yourself
Every bookmaker calls itself the best one in Britain, and the claim is worth exactly what it costs to make. We would rather point at the three things on this site that can be verified without taking our word for any of it, because those are what actually tell you who you are dealing with.
The licence is 67098 and it resolves on the Gambling Commission’s public register in under a minute. The payout figures are medians from our own payments log rather than a flattering best case, which means they can be held against us. And the complaints route ends with an independent adjudicator we do not control, whose decision binds us and not you. Three checkable facts are worth more than any adjective, and they are the reason we print them.
Treat it as a small line in the monthly budget and it stays a pleasure. Support is free and confidential on 0808 8020 133, every single day of the year, including this one. An account is for adults; the age bar is 18.
Common questions
Is LadBet licensed in the UK?
Yes. LadBet is operated by Jupiter Gaming Limited of 9 Bond Street, Jersey JE2 3NP, licensed and regulated by the Gambling Commission under licence 67098, and separately by the Jersey Gambling Commission under RGO-2600-30. Both are on public registers you can search yourself.
What is the welcome offer and is there a code?
Stake £20 at odds of 1/1 (2.00) or bigger and we credit £10 in free bets once that bet settles. There is no code. The offer attaches to the qualifying bet on its own.
How long does a withdrawal take?
PayPal runs about 4 minutes, Apple Pay 6 minutes and debit cards 9 minutes. Bank transfer takes 1 to 3 working days. Verification has to be complete before the first one goes out.
Can I use a credit card?
No. Since April 2020 no British operator has been allowed to accept credit cards for gambling. Debit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay and bank transfer all work.
Is the casino a separate account?
No. The casino and the sportsbook share one balance and one login. The two welcome offers are separate though, and the wagering on the casino package does not apply to sports free bets.
What is the minimum deposit and the minimum bet?
Deposits start at £10. Bets start at 10p on most sportsbook markets, so a first deposit goes a long way if you want to look round before committing.
Is LadBet the same company as Ladbrokes?
No. They are unconnected businesses with different owners, different licences and different accounts. We set out the differences because the names are close enough to cause genuine confusion.
